Online psychologist in English for people living abroad
Expressing what you feel in another language is never quite the same. If you live far from home and migratory grief, culture shock or loneliness are starting to weigh on you, this is a space for online therapy in your language, on your time, wherever you are.
The first 20-minute meeting is free.

Does this sound familiar?
Moving abroad brings excitement, but also losses that are rarely talked about. If any of this resonates, you are not alone.
Sometimes you feel that…
- You miss your people and find it hard to say so out loud.
- You feel caught between two worlds: a foreigner here, and further and further from back home.
- The tiredness, anxiety or sadness just won’t go away.
- You can’t decide whether to stay, go back or move on.
Together, we will…
- Put into words what you have left behind and give it its place.
- Find calm and energy again in your daily life.
- Build a life here that feels meaningful to you.
- Make decisions with more clarity, including whether to go back.
How I can help
Topics I can support you with
I work with all kinds of situations, with one speciality: expatriation, migration and major life changes.
Migratory grief
What you lose when you emigrate
Family, language, customs, status: working through those losses so you can put down roots where you are.
Extreme stress
Ulysses syndrome
When the conditions of migration are so hard that the stress exceeds your ability to adapt.
Adjustment
Culture shock
Different codes, schedules and ways of relating that are confusing and exhausting, especially at first.
Anxiety
Anxiety and stress far from home
Constant worry, insomnia or tension when your usual support network isn’t around.
Relationships
Intercultural couples
Two cultures, two languages, two families: finding a common language without giving up what is yours.
Going back
Returning to your home country
Going back is a migration too: you have changed, and so has your country.
How I work
Science-based psychology, and a relationship of trust
Research shows that what matters most in therapy is the relationship between you and me. That is why I take care of both: validated techniques and the bond.
Therapy
Third-wave CBT
ACT, mindfulness and DBT: making room for what you feel without fighting your thoughts, and acting on what matters to you.
Trauma
EMDR
For difficult memories and experiences that still weigh on the present. EMDR Europe certified.
Assessment
Clear goals
At the start we assess your situation, sometimes with validated questionnaires, and we review progress together.
Mobility
Continuity, even if you move
If you change city, country or time zone, we keep going: sessions are online and the calendar adapts to your local time.

Frequently asked questions
What people often ask
Does online therapy work?
Yes. Video sessions allow high-quality work, and research puts them on a par with in-person therapy for many difficulties. They also give you access to a psychologist in your language, wherever you are.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your situation. After the first session I can give you an estimate, and after 4 or 5 sessions we agree on a tailored plan together.
Which languages can sessions be in?
In English, French or Spanish, whichever you are most comfortable with.
What do I need for online sessions?
A stable internet connection, a quiet place where you can talk privately and, ideally, headphones with a microphone. You can join from a computer, tablet or phone.
Are video sessions confidential?
Yes. Sessions take place on Google Meet, over an encrypted connection, using a private link you receive when you book. What we discuss is covered by professional confidentiality and is not recorded.
How much does a session cost?
The first 20-minute meeting is free. After that, each 50-minute session costs €70, and there is a package of 4 sessions for €260. You can pay by card (Stripe) or bank transfer. See the fees.
What if I’m in an emergency?
Online therapy is not an emergency service. If you are thinking of harming yourself, call the emergency services of the country you are in (112 in the European Union, or your local emergency number).
Shall we talk?
You don’t have to go through this alone
Write to me and let’s see together how I can help, wherever you are.
